Developers

We are currently looking for Developers and Senior Developers to work on a wide range of exciting projects. You’ll be passionate about software development, curious about new technologies and able to think laterally to solve complex problems in interesting ways. You’ll have experience with modern JavaScript running on Node.js and large scale PHP applications. Knowledge of frameworks like React, Laravel and Symfony would be beneficial.

Senior UX Designer

We are looking for a Senior UX Designer to join the mN team. As a UX Designer you will have experience using audience insight to positively influence the design of digital products and services. You are an amazing communicator who can express design solutions using words, sketches and prototypes. You love organising and conducting research, workshops and interviews to identify user needs. You are a natural problem solver, with a passion for designing experiences that are inclusive. You have a minimum of 2 years experience working as a UX designer.

Required skills and experience:

  • User interviews and testing
  • Sketching, wireframing and prototyping
  • User-journey mapping and experience mapping
  • Persona creation and verification
  • Information architecture and content strategy
  • Experience using UX design, testing and prototyping software
  • Workshop facilitation
  • Experience of user research practices and methodologies
  • Experience analysing user research data

Studio Manager

We are on the hunt for a new Studio Manager. As the mN Studio Manager, you are responsible for the day to day management of the mN facilities.

You are also the heartbeat of the our collective and in addition to keeping the studio an exciting and inspiring space to work in, you will lead on internal and external events; managing an annual schedule and coordinating required activity.

Working alongside the Senior Management team, the Studio Manager provides PA and general administration support as the central administration point for the business.

Strategist

We are looking for someone with the ability to combine user needs, business objectives and creative thought.

You might not have held a strategist role before. That’s cool. The kind of person we are looking for could just as easily come from a UX, research, design or business consultancy background.

At mN, strategists work both across existing and potential clients. In either case, they are part of multi-functional project teams which means they spend more time making things than they do writing briefs or making slide decks. A typical day might involve:

  • Ensuring everyone understand and agree on the problem that needs solving
  • Defining the steps from where we are now to desired outcome
  • Planning and facilitate ideas sessions
  • Planning and run user research
  • Helping prioritise (tasks, ideas, objectives, solutions) and make not-to-do lists
  • Making maps or other visualisations to communicate findings and insights

We want someone who is good at:

  • Bringing the user perspective into the process
  • Making sense of complicated things and communicating them in a clear and succinct way
  • Collaborating and working with people from different backgrounds and with different roles
  • Keeping up to date with society and the trends that are changing it
  • Articulating your opinion

And is experienced in:

  • Planning and facilitating workshops
  • Doing user research
  • Making digital or other kinds of products
  • Advising clients or stakeholders on options and solutions
  • Creating visual artefacts such as journey maps, personas or diagrams

Above all, we’re looking for someone who is passionate about design, technology and creativity and shares our ambition.
